Portfolios > The Orchard

The quince tree is an older tree bearing signs of wear, the skin of its trunk pulled open to reveal drying, wrinkled intestines. There has been an attempt to bandage the opening with gauze or to wrap it as dead. The fruit is open, dipped in wax as if to create a second skin or cover it in a medium that will slow decay.
